Campus 504 Coordinator
Hello FRE Falcon Families!
I absolutely LOVE being at Falcon Ridge Elementary. We have the best families and staff! This year I will work with students in Kinder, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade, and I look forward to following them throughout their FRE career. I am also the campus 504 coordinator and happy to answer any questions you may have regarding section 504. I have worked with students, teachers, and families in Schweinfurt (Germany), Killeen, Mabank, Tyler, and New Caney. I have taught grades K, 1, 3, and 4 as well as served as an Instructional Coach in grades K-8. My other experience is as an elementary Media Specialist/Librarian and District Technology Specialist. I have a passion of sharing literacy and technology skills!
I am a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler (Bachelors: Interdisciplinary Studies) and Lamar University (Masters: Educational Technology and Leadership). My husband Matt is an Army veteran, and we are also proud Huffman parents. You will see us at Huffman Band/Color Guard events, FFA, and sporting events! To sharpen MY saw, I love to: read, quilt, listen to live music, travel, and watch my kids live out their passions. I also know an insane amount of Harry Potter and Disney trivia and have the MOST eclectic taste in music!

Campus RTI Coordinator
This will be my 19th year in education. I have worked in Huffman for the past 13 years. I taught 4th grade at both HES and FRE, 6th grade at HMS, and I served as an Instructional Coach at HMS. Prior to moving to Huffman I taught in Goose Creek CISD.
My husband and I have three beautiful daughters. Our oldest daughter Madison is a graduate of Texas State University and is currently an Officer in the Army Reserves. Ashlyn is a senior at Hargrave HS and is involved with HOSA and on the tennis team. Raelyn is a freshman at HHS and is very active in soccer and Falconettes. We love to go glamping and spend time outdoors when we can handle the heat.
