Welcome back! 

 

My name is Mandy Clark and I am your child's 5th-grade ELAR/Social Studies teacher.  This is my first year at Huffman ISD, however, I've been teaching for 20 years.  I was born and raised in Oregon and attended college at Boise State University.  I have my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Educational Technology.  I taught 5th grade in Ohio for 12 years and then the last 8 years I've taught in Texas.  I've been married to my husband Chris for 22 years and we have a daughter who is a Senior this year at Hargrave High School.  In my spare time, I love to read, run, and watch sports.  I'm a huge Boise State, Chicago Bears, San Francisco Giants, and Portland Trailblazer fan.  I'm very excited for this school year to start and I can't wait to meet you!
